Anyone have a Cooshee booster?

I just bought the kiddos Cooshee boosters that they LOVE! However, I am worried about marring the surface of my chairs. Does anyone have a good suggestion for what to put underneath that will not leave a sticky residue on my chairs?

I don't have one, but is it the same type of material as the Bumbo seats?

I was initially going to say to put a towel under, or a chair cover, but then it would probably slip and the kids could fall? does the instructions say anything?

what is the surface of your chair? wood? or fabric etc?

We used the Cooshies for 3 years and loved them!! They did not mark up our wood chairs- there was a slight film at times, but it wiped off.

They don't do anything to the chairs. :)

We have used the same ones for over 5yrs and they have never marked up our wood chairs. We LOVE them also and they really lasted (they have now fell apart on the sides but they still work giving my son and niece a nice boost up when they want it).

It is good to hear that several of you did not have issue with your chairs! Lots of the online reviewers were unhappy with the damage that the booster did to their wood chairs. My chairs will probably be fine as they seem to have a good, strong coat of sealant.

Sorry to burst the love bubble, but ours DID ruin one set of wooden chairs. You have to make sure to clean and dry extremely well underneath, and not put them back for a while after cleaning so there is absolutely no moisture under. I was very hesitant to get them back out to use them for the twins. We bought ours years ago for the big boys. They are still made the same, no design changes.
I love the simple design and that they are soft. My sister uses them also, and has had NO issues for years, either. I truly think it must depend on the wood and stain of the furniture. AND, making sure that no spills or moisture gets underneath!

My plan for right now is to just pull them up after every meal and let them rest on their edge on the chair. We will see how long that lasts before I get fed up with it :) I also thought about pulling the Cooshee up and letting it sit on a towel on the chair until the next use...

That's what we do too. It does get to be a bit of a pain, but it seems to be working this go around. Hope it works for you too! :)

Yep, we have had chairs ruined too. I think my son spilled milk that we didn't notice. The bottom of the cooshee seems to be permanently puffy. Now I am really good about putting them up after each meal, but my husband is not. At least our chairs were already "distressed" so I am not too upset. If they were new it would have really bothered me.
