Anyone have a baby proof solution for the oven drawer?

Has anyone found a way to baby proof the oven drawer (that holds pots & pans)? Ours is just a face, no sides to work with as it goes right up against cabinetry on both sides.

I'm tired of the kids getting into it (and worried they will eventually pull out the lids and drop them on their little piggies).

Can you figure out a temporary place to put your pots and pans? The only solution I found was to use clear packing tape. Our cabinets are right up to the range also but I was able to wiggle enough tape around the side to keep it closed. Good luck - my two were climbing in it and I was worried they'd break the silly thing!

remove the glass lids. let them play with the rest. Noisy but safe. they'll get bored in a few weeks and wont open it

I'm not sure what kind of flooring you have, but we used one of those rubber wedge door stoppers. It worked for quite a while, although they lost interest in the drawer they were very excited when they figured out how to remove the door stopper.

If you can move the pots and pans somewhere else and fill it with stuff the babies are allowed to have ie plaxtic containers.

We have a similar problem. Ours has a drawer but it's not for storage. It's a Mini Oven and they keep trying to climb in it. My big oven has a built in lock but nothing for the mini one :(
