I really dont like giving baby food, but I do it anyways. I guess I just get tired of having peaches spit back in my face. Brookie newest thing is blowing rasberries as soon as the food hits her mouth [IMG]

Oh and they no longer like being held when taking a bottle unless they are extremely tired so now I have to buy more podees since they only seem to like those now [IMG] wish I would have only bought those from the beginning

Hey, I actually sell those podee bottles on the internet. I can get you a great deal if you'd like to help you out. I love to help out any twin mom. I know how expensive theey can be. I can sell them to you at cost plus how much is costs to mail them. just let me know. I also have the feeding system where it will convert any bottle into a podee bottle, which is cheaper.

Just PM if you are interested. thank!

Oh, I hated that raspberry phase!! Have you tried giving them table foods versus baby food? I never get raspberries nowadays, they are on all table food.

Also, maybe try giving formula in a sippie with meals. This goes over very well with my duo as well. They still have certain bottles they want to take (held) but other times they are too distracted. So I get in formula where I can (at meals with sippies). We've dropped the first morning bottle and replaced it with a sippie for breakfast...yeah!!

We have been going through that stage for about a month or so. Joe refuses purees. When I try to sneak in a bite or two I just end up wearing it. [IMG]

I started giving him more table foods and that is the only way I can get him to eat solids. He really loves to self-feed. Unfortunately he hasn't really hit his stride with table foods yet, so we're wandering around in no mans land. If I put more than one piece of food on his tray he'll shove EVERY single piece in his mouth at once. If he doesn't gag, then it all falls out in his lap. His diet consists of puffs, arrowroot cookies, diced fruit/veggies & pasta pick ups.

To make things more complicated, Nick is no where near as good as Joe with table foods. He gives me this look like, "what the h*ll do you expect me to do with this?". I'm looking forward to the day when we can just shovel a little of whatever we're eating onto the high chair tray.

I dread solids too...I say go for some more table foods, at least you won't wear as much of it. [IMG]
