Sometimes I feel like my heart is beating out of my chest and I could be sitting on the couch just reading. Has anyone else had this or should I be concerned?

OMG yes!!! And since pretty early on, too, about 16 weeks....I'm 31 weeks now and still feel it, especially when I first get into bed or change positions....

Yes, I had that, especially between about 18 to 24 weeks or so...I think. Then it seems like my body adjusted more to the extra blood flow and it really doesn't happen much now. I remember noticing it when I would lay down. You can always mention it to your Dr. and I'm sure he would calm your fears. It does seem to be normal though.

Oh man, I had that! I didn't know what the heck was happening. My OB said it was from all the extra blood flow.

Yes I have had that throughout my whole pregnancy. It is so annoying. My doctor said it is due to increased blood volume and circulaton. I find that the more hydrated I stay the better it is.

I have that and I can hear the blood flowing in my ears like a heartbeat it's strange but I figured from the extra blood.

What a relief I thought my heart was going to explode! I may mention it to the OB next week but I'm glad to hear its not so odd!

I TOTALLY had that too!!! It was only when I laid on my side though...my left side expecially. It felt like my heart was beating way too hard, and it almost hurt. I had it with my first born and now it is happening again. I thought I was just paranoid.....:)
