My girls are soooo different. One is blonde and blue eyed and the other is brown haired and brown eyed. Their face shapes are totally different and so are their body types. It seems like so many of the babies I see on here look similar (and not just the identical ones ;) ) Anyone else have babies that look totally different? I would post photos but haven't figured out yet how!!

Mine are g/g frats (we "assume") but they have the same blood type and the same color eyes (both have blue but Alyssa's are very dark blue and Ashley's are a light blue)... beyond that really... they have nothing in common. I have posted a few pics asking ID or FRAT and the overwhelming majority say Frat... also out in public we get alot of "those babies look nothing alike" comments BUT we do get a few " how do you tell them apart" also. Here is a pic of my girls, I think they fall into the "Frat w/ sibling resemblence" category. I have never even considered getting them DNA tested because we are pretty sure they are Frat.

I think they look Frat in that pic but I cant see the baby on the left "head on" that might make or break me on my ID Frat decision! ;)

I was just saying tonight how mine look nothing alike! They both have blue eyes, but Carlie has almond-shaped eyes, a wider nose, thinner lips, a bigger head, blonde hair, and she is longer/skinner everywhere. Claire has round eyes, smaller nose, bigger lips, small head, reddish hair, and she my chunk-a-monk! So I think it is crazy too that they are twins but barely look like sisters!

My girls look NOTHING alike! Maia is my skinny bald little redhaired caucasion, and Sofia is chubby and darker with tons of dark hair. They have absolutely nothing in common, the are polar opposites in looks and personality.

Sofia thing 1 and Maia thing 2

I have 11-month-old fraternal boys. One seems to take after my side, and the other is more like my husband's side. They have different eye colour (one blue, one green), and different hair colour (one blonde - hardly any hair, one brownish). Honestly, I don't think they look alike at all. But everyone once in a while someone will come up to me, especially when they're wearing hats, and ask how I tell them apart...so I guess they must be at least slightly similar to strangers. I enjoy having two very different babies.

Mine look completely different, but we still have people ask how we tell them apart and act surprised when we tell them they're fraternal  . I guess they look related, but they have very distinct features and different hair colors! Cassidy looks a lot like me and Candace looks a lot like DH.

ME! I've got one very fair skinned red head with a round chubby face, and I've got a dark headed, more slender little faced boy! I'll try to find a good pic and post it tomorrow. But yeah, ours look NOTHING alike. One looks like me, the other takes after Daddy!

Oh yes, my boys don't even look like they're brothers, let alone twins.

David looks like me; is fair skinned, blue eyes, kind of on the small side.

William has an enormous head, big, brown eyes, olive skin and looks like neither DH or myself!

I hear people when we are out whispering..."Are they twins?" "y-yes...I think so...one is bigger...not sure" It's pretty funny. I think people think I am babysitting one of them or something. :D

We call them Shamus and Guido.

    Here they are

Our girls are fraternal also. A few ladies on here were adament about getting the DNA done, but we have no reason to since they look nothing alike. Anyways, Avarey looks like our daughter Kenia did at 0-6 months and Aubrey looks like Kenia from 6-9 months. Weird I know, but look at the pics!

This first one is of my daughter Kenia when she was 5 months old (she is 4 now!)

One of mine is blonde hair/blue eyed, and the other dark hair and brown eyed. But they definitely look like sisters, just not identical.

I don't even think my girls look like sisters so I'm always surprised when someone asks if they are identical! Meara has dark brown hair and bright blue eyes, and Ana has light brownish/red hair and hazel eyes. Their facial features and body types are very different too (even though they are always about the same size when we go to the doctor!).

I had a funny experience in Target a few months ago. A family with 6 year old g/g twins was talking to me. One of little girls was coo-ing at my girls and the dad asked me "Are they identical?" And his daughter replied "NO!" And I said "Thats right, they are fraternal." The dad asked his DD "How did you know that?" and she replied "Duh! They don't look alike at all!" That 6 year old was smarter than most people I talk to! :)

Evie likes to close her eyes!!! I added one that you can sort of see the two of them while they were playing fire fighters with their brother the other day!

LOL Your girls dont look anything alike either. I remember your post several months ago about the results of the placenta tests... I certainly dont think you need the DNA done, but I remember argueing because I just have a fit when DRs tell moms that their kids are frats just dependant on the placenta tests... but all that aside, I agree they def. have to be Frat! ;) I think it is funny how they look like eachother at 6 months, thanks for sharing.

Jonah looks just like me and Noah like my DH. We laugh when people tell us they can't tell them apart... because one has brown eyes, olive skin coloring and black hair and the other has brown hair, green eyes and is more peachy in color.
We understand more when people tell us they think one is a girl and the other a boy.

Joel looks like my husband (exactly like him) (of course, my hubby and I both have almond shaped eyes and full lips and light-colored hair, so maybe they do look a little alike. Heck, maybe my hubby and I look alike!)

wow for newbies I can def tell their differences and usually I am horrible with the brand new babies... thanks for sharing.

We assume our girls are frat since we can easily tell them apart but we get comments about them looking identical all the time. One is a pound heavier than the other and they have different facial features. Occasionally I will look at a picture of one of them and it will take me a minute to figure out who it is, but that doesn't happen often.

What really gets me is when someone asks if they are id, and we answer that we think they are frat but not 100% sure. So many people laugh and ask "what do mean you aren't sure? You haven't figured it out yet?". They act like we are idiots for not knowing. Then they "educate" us on how ids are in one sac and frats are in two. DH works at a high school and ran into a biology teacher the other day who ended up giving him a mini-lecture on the subject that was full of misinformation. It would be fine if they just asked why we don't know, but they act like we are stupid when in fact they are the ones who are ignorant on the subject. Ok, vent over. ;)
