Its starting to realllllly get on my nerves with the potty talk around here! I try to stay calm but we all know with twins that its not always my reaction they are looking for! Every conversation involves poopy or pee or peepee or butt! Jack told me the other day "Mommy make sure you drive to work really, really....POOPY!" It's like they have Tourette's and their word choices are potty talk. Tonight we colored eggs with my older sis and her kids and my mom came over....they come running out of the bath yelling "peepees sticking out...I'm gonna pee on you!" Poopy is said randomly throughout the day so much that today my sister and I started saying "Oh Jack, you have to go poopy, lets run to the bathroom" and would pick him up and walk him there with him screaming "No I don't have to go!" So we would tell him not to say poopy unless he had to use the bathroom. This made no difference.....

    Help!!! Or at least commiserate;)

I still have this fight with my twins almost every day. It doesn't help that the baby farts all the time and my husband blames his farts on the cat. They never grow up!

If it makes you feel any better my girls pretend to pee & poop on things (including the cats) & find it uproariously funny.

Yes, both my daughter and son went through this phase during the late 2's and 3's. Even now, my son will sit on his tinkertoys box and tell me that is his potty for pooping and watching TV (?).
I just tell my twosome save the potty talk for the house and keep to yourself out of the house.

Lol at least I'm in good company;). My nephew is total opposite, he doesn't even touch his penis to use the bathroom...he just leans forward to point it down!

Oh honey... I wish it was just a boy thing. My twin girls went through this phase about two years ago; every third word out of their mouths was poop or pee or butt. They thought they were the funniest things in the world, and any bodily function could send them into fits of giggles. But hang in there - it's just a phase (usually!) and it will pass eventually.

I have a 7 year old who has a mob of 7 year old friends who are boys who all LOVE potty talk. My 2 year olds are oblivious. Thank goodness.
