Anyone else wanting to get preggers again already?

Well I just started my new job Sep 2, and the twins are almost a year old. I know its crazy, but I want to have another baby already. Anyone else feel this way right now? :blink:

 

I think I might have gone through a phase where I sorta wanted to have a baby again, but now that we have two toddlers... just last night I said to my DH "I cannot think of anything worse than having another baby right now." Many people do though and my hat is off to them.

 

You are not crazy!! On the drive home from the hospital this last time I mentioned to dh that I'd do that all over again! The only thing that is stopping me is my age. I feel every year of it!

 

Yeah, I feel that way! Mine are a bit older, I think......what's holding us back is fear about finances & dh thinks he "won't have a life". :huh:

 

I too would have another in a heartbeat, but knowing that it was a HUGE compromise for us to have a 3rd, there won't be anymore, and I'm fine with that.

However, after I had the twins, I got "the itch" BAD when they were a year old. We were going to wait until the twins were 2 years 3 months (just decided the fall after their 2nd birthday), but I talked DH into trying sooner...it took 2 months to get pregnant and I got a BPF the weekend after their 2nd birthday.

If you are ready and DH is on board...GO FOR IT!

 

I have been trying since they were 6 months old with no luck, so I dont think you are crazy!

I have had the 'itch' since the girls were 9 months old....no luck here though. We did IVF for them- and are unlikely to get pregnant on our own & cant afford another IVF (had a failed FET). Sure would be a nice surprise though!

I did briefly when then were under the age of one but at about 13 months the terrible toddlers kicked in and I was done having kids lol! But now at the age of almost 3.5 were expecting. I'm still scared though lol!

 

We want another so bad! We have been trying for 10 months now...hopefully soon!

 

If I was one of those ladies that can lose all their pregnancy weight in just a few months I would totally be considering it even now. But it takes me a long time to lose weight after a pregnancy and this time I had a c-section so I'll be waiting a good year before trying. I don't think you're crazy. I think babies are such a blessing.

 

I love my two; however, I definitely don't want more. DD and DS keep me so busy that I can't imagine having another to care for. I am pretty sure we won't have any surprises since DH had a vasectomy and I'm on BC (to avoid symptoms of endo).

I am impressed with all of the women with more than 2 children.

 

My twins are 18 months plus I have a 4 year old. I would love to have another, my sister just had a baby a few weeks ago so I definitely have the itch. Of course, I would want to wait another couple of years because it's really hard giving everyone the attention they want with so many young ones. However, DH doesn't want any more plus finances are tight sometimes so we're done (unless he changes his mind). So... I definitely don't think you're crazy.

 

I definietly have the itch of wanting 1 more after having the twins. They just turned '2' today and because of that I want them to have another brother/sister and partly because we always wanted a big family. We are in 1 out of a million shot if we could get pregnant on our own. My twins were from IVF #2 and the stress of going through that all over again is not an option for us. If it doesn't happen within 6 months from now it is really OVER for us but it also meant we will be fine with just 2 kids.

I love having babies ( but I hate being pregnant )we are currently pregnant with number five we will have 4 under 3 when this one comes in march. Good luck whatever you choose to do.

 

well, I talked with Dh this morning and we came to a consensus. Since I am on probation for my job for a year, I really shouldn't have another baby until after next september, so we are going to start trying after New Years. I think he agreed to it hoping I will get over it by then, j/k. haha. Anyways, thanks for the comments, much appreciated :good:

 

H*$# NOOOOO, but I am in a different situation. I have 7 mo. old twins and a 22 mo. old DS. 15 mo. apart to the day!

 

well i talked to my mom about it, big mistake. she was all like, its too early, your husband is still in school, wait till they are out of diapers, blah blah. She is so logical.

 

I might change my mind somewhere down the line, but I am SO not interested in having another baby. I already have way too little time for my interests. I see pregnant moms chasing toddlers at the park and could almost faint from pity and terror --- so, um, no plans for another.

But as long as you have the means to support another baby, go for it! Once you've got baby fever, it's hard to ignore. Good luck!

 

Heck, no. Soooo done with the babymaking here, LOL. But then, it took more than 2 years for me to get baby fever after I had my oldest....so I suppose it could hit next year.

But I doubt it.

I don't have the itch to get pregnant, but I feel like I definately want another. I feel like our family just isn't complete just yet. Has anyone else felt that way? I would love to have a little girl down the line, maybe in a couple of years when my three boys are a little older, we will start trying again.
