Anyone else think today was "fall back"?

Kaleigh and Brendan who usually wake around 7/7:30 both slept past 9 today! I swear they were confused regarding daylight savings. It is usually this week but this year it was pushed to next week. I heard some kids naturally adjust to this. I just wish they had done this next week. My DH was concerned when they didn't wake and went to check on them. Lucky me, I got to sleep in.

 

My DVD player thought so!

 

I really thought so. I taught fire prevention at the elem. school this week and told all of the kids that it was this week and they needed to change their smoke decector batteries.

 

I am glad to hear others were tricked too! We saw the computer time was changed back and we were shocked we did not hear that it was this weekend. Dh and I both wondered how we missed it! :laughing:

 

But today WAS "fall back"...at least in England!

I hope you enjoyed your lie-in and that your girls cope as well when you have to do it for real next week.

 

Why oh why didn't Ali and Martin get the MEMO on this?! 5:30 came really fast!!!

 

Mine were up at 5:30am......again.........So I am JUST FINE with waiting to "fall back."

 

Just wanted to add that my van did! I was totally confused while driving to church.

 

The kids didn't think so but my computer did!

 

I totally got tricked! My calander said it was daylight savings, so I thought I'd keep them up an extra 1/2 hour to kind of adjust. While I was starting the bath, DH googled it, and we found out it was next week! Oh well!
