So this new little one will be here in two weeks (early section for IUGR) and we have bought nothing. Not even a car seat. Right now we have probably 10 outfits and a baby swing. No sleepers, no onesies, no blankets, nothing else. I really need to get busy but I am having a hard time getting motivated. We live about an hour from the nearest town, I work full time, and baseball season is in full swing for 3 of my kiddos. We are not big on baby "stuff" anyway, so I will probably only buy sleepers, a few blankets for swaddling, and maybe a bouncy seat. But in the back of my mind it is nagging me.

Anyone else have a secret fear of being stuck without baby supplies??

In my husband's family, you don't buy any baby supplies until after delivery (his grandma had 9 miscarriages), so with the twins, we had nothing at all in the house. My mother-in-law and my mom were in town when the boys were born and ran out to the store and got cribs, some sheets, and a few outfits. The only thing we had ordered (but left for pick-up at the store) was a double stroller. We did the same with our little girl this time around. I was in the hospital for two days and during that time, my husband and my mom got the very basic stuff. Everything else came later.
Congratulations, btw - very, very exciting! Hope all goes well with the delivery!

Opposite. I'm a compulsive planner for stuff like this. I'm like Heather and already have EVERYTHING! I sold it all after the twins (STUPID!) and had/have to buy it all again! OUCH!

I'm only 14 weeks and already feeling the pressure of "What ELSE can I get?" i cannot relax til I know I'm set! There is just SOOO much to do!

Me me me!! (this is my first post in here and I'm almost 30 weeks! See?! procrastinating!) I have a FEW things from the girls...a swing, exersaucer, clothes (that I haven't looked through at all), pack n play, and some toys all still boxed up. I bought a car seat and a bouncy seat. That's it. It doesn't help that we just put a for sale sign in our yard today and have to look for a new house now too. Yikes!
