Okay so I'm measuring 3 weeks behind now. (35 weeks measuring 32 weeks...)
I wasn't nervous or worried about this at all...but then someone else hoping for vbac on her last baby shared her story about how she was 34 weeks and measuring 32 weeks, and it turned out the baby stopped growing and they had to induce... So now I feel worried...ugh....this woman had an 8lb first child too. (My first dd was 8lbs and I'm pretty sure I measured small then too...but I'm not positive on the actual measurements from that pg.) Anyway, there was some concern initially that my placenta would poop out b/c of all the bleeding I had from it during the first trimester. But at week 30 she was looking really good at 4lbs. I do remember the u/s tech telling me that it would be the last 6 weeks or so that is critical b/c if the placenta is going to quit on you that's when it happens. Anyway, I'm hoping for vbac and my docs won't induce unless conditions are favorable...(i have to be dilated...) I am dilated to a 1 but not sure if that really counts or not! Ugh...if she isn't continuing to grow and they want her out and won't induce then obviously that means another c/s...not what I'm hoping for. I was sooo not worried about this at all on Monday...and now b/c of one bad story I'm feeling a little nervous. Anyone else have good stories about singleton pgs and measuring behind but still having a nice size baby???? My u/s is on monday, so I'll have the answer to my worries by then...but reassurance is always good. Way tmi here, but I think I've started losing my mucus plug this week... I think it's normal to lose it a bit at a time over the last month or so right?? Can't remember if I noticed losing it at all with the twins or dd...so I'm thinking maybe I lost it gradually then too??

P.S. in the meantime I'm upping my ice cream intake to encourage this little one to grow!! LOL!!

I'm not sure if it would be considered behind....last ultrasound...last week...i measured - rather the baby measured at 34 weeks i believe. I was actually supposed to be at 35 almost 36 weeks. The doctor mentioned some type of concern but i think tomrrows apt. will maybe clear it up. he also looked at the fluid in the sac and depending on how he looked at it, he seemed concerned aobut that...depending on how peyton was laying. so, i think we're in the same boat. i'll let you know after tomorrow....

I haven't actually gotten an u/s that is behind...just my fundal height measurement.... I'm really hoping the u/s doesn't measure behind... hopefully she looks on target for her age in spite of my belly being small. I'm just parinoid about having to have a c/s if she isn't growing right.... or worse an induction!!

I always measured a few weeks behind with this recent pregnancy. My OB wasn't concerned because I kept growing consistently at each visit. I delivered at 39 weeks and she was 7 lbs even. I think I was always at least three weeks behind with my fundal height. HTH.

The weird thing is that at 34.5 weeks I was measuring 33 weeks...and at 35.5 weeks I measured 32 weeks...
