Anyone else experience this soreness?

Okay, this is slightly TMI, but given what we are all here for, I'm not embarrassed to ask this....

In the beginning of this pregnancy, I had incredibly sore boobs--but after the first couple months, the soreness pretty much went away--except for excrutiatingly sensitive nipples throughout entire pregnancy.

Now, at almost 29 weeks, the soreness is back with a VENGEANCE!!! I mean nothing has to even brush up against them, and they hurt like crazy. I'm assuming this is normal?

Totally normal! Just wait tell after you have the kids!! It's great fun when my little ones climb all over me and I get an elbow or something in them.

Only days after I had my son (i was nursing) my daughter elbowed my right on "target" so to say. It hurt so bad. The next morning right after I nursed my son he vomited all he had eatin and it was mostly blood!!! I of course panicked and rushed him to the drs. I found out she had hit me hard enough to actually "break" something inside my breast and made me internally bleed!! Oyo.

Kids really know just how to "get" you don't they ;) .

O'by the way, try something warm on them if you can. It can really help.

It must be normal about that time because I was definitely having a lot of boob soreness and fullness again about that time. It seems to have backed off a bit now (33 weeks). The only thing I can think of is it's just your body getting ready for breastfeeding. Must go through stages? Hope you feel better soon!

I used that nipple ointment on them (the lanolin stuff) for when my nipples felt like they were on fire esp after a shower I noticed it. it worked great !!!

Olive oil also works really nice (you might have that on hand?) The Latche team at the hospital here also recomends it for nursing moms, cutts down on food allergies.

Mine are still full and very tender but not as painful as they were a couple weeks ago. I haven't leaked really at all (I didn't with my first either and my milk came in fine) but I have had this lovely dried up yellow stuff on my nipples (guessing colostrum) for months now. I've had a couple spots on my bra but no major leaking. It's so strange how everyone is so different. We're depending on breastfeeding so I'm crossing my fingers all goes well.

Well here's something TOTALLY new for me! I woke up this morning with sticky, leaky nipples! I thought I noticed something "wet" during the night, but was half asleep so didn't really think too much about it at the time. Now every time I go to the bathroom, I look at them, and YEP, still leaking!

This is so wild...as my sister said to me this morning, "it's all part of the wild wackiness of mommiehood" I guess!

i had to go and buy 2 different types of nursing bra's it seemed to help alittle, i also started to express, i only get alittle out but it feels so good after. it ffeels like i lost lbs off my chest, how i express is i have a warm shower, get my breast right under the water.
in the shower i run both hands down my breast kinda like a massage i guess
i get out of the shower go straight to my pump and start pumping i do 5 min each breast.
it feels so much better, no pian , any milk you do get you can store & freeze just right the date on the container, i believe you can freeze milk for 3 months in a fridge freeze 6 in the deep freeze.
    i am 28 weeks .

Mine were horrible starting around 12 weeks and they got a little better in the past few months. But at that time I oculd not even touch them. Now I have to be careful but I know what you mean!!!!
