It's not time for us to get ANY,yet....but, I was just wondering. Seems like sometimes you might need two. Like, if one of the twins wants to sit on it, and the other one does too. That way one wouldn't have to go in his pants because he'd have a potty, too! Is this just uneccesary spending? I've never seen anyone mention it.

Yes, I bought two at about 12 months. I've had them in their bathroom since, so they would get used to seeing them. I sit them on it once they get stripped down for their bath. DS has peed in it more often than not. DD hasn't done anything, but they now go in the bathroom and sit on them all by themselves.

I'm buying two. Heaven forbid I buy one, they will shove each other down to be the one who gets to sit on it. I plan on getting the kind that is a chair and has the removable top to put on the toilet.

Yep my mom had twins and said this was one thing I had to have 2 of. I took her advice and I'm glad I did.

Actually, I've bought 5!! Two for each bathroom and one for the our minivan. It also helps that I bought them on clearance. [IMG]

I bought two (we aren't using them yet though). They were plain and only $6 each in Target.

I have a small potty chair and a potty ring (for the regular toilet) w/ stepstool in each bathroom. I got the baby bjorn brand of both. We have small bathrooms, so I didn't want two small potties in each bathroom. Mine like to take turns on the big and little potties [IMG]

We have 2 potty chairs up and 2 potty chairs down. As well as one potty ring up and one down. Plus two on the go potties in the car. I think we are well equipped. All is well spent. We actually use all of them. It also helps that I don't have to cart them up and downstairs as well as when we go places. My girls have yet to use the potties at public places. They either hold it until they are home or go in the on the go potties.

Yes, we bought two. If you can afford it, do it. This isn't something for them to argue over....

    Good luck!

For me it would have been unnecessary spending. K&K trained on the toilet so any money spent would have been a waste. I did actually buy an inflatable potty thinking I might need it for my car, I never used it and ended up mailing it to a TS member who was looking for one.

I bought 2 of these when starting to potty train. I would sit them on them in front of the tv. I liked them cause it was all one piece. Once they got comfortable with potty training I bought one of the seats that go on the potty as well as this to take when we left the house. My girls got scared they were going to fall in and them grabbing public toilet seats to hold on grossed me out.

I actually only bought one with my older set and they had no problems because they were about 5 mths apart with potty training so I'll probably do the same thing with Luke and Molly because Luke seems way more interested and aware these days.

We have 2. One would have been a war. There are times when they pee or poop at the same time. Its easier to train using two. Hard to teach tiny ones to hold is right away.

We have two for when the time comes. One is sitting in the bathroom now for my 2yr old to start with. When the twins are ready and it seems to be a problem with one, I'll pull out the other. If I had to buy them, I'd buy two and tape the receipt to one. If it works with one, return the other. I am considering buying the all in one bjorn one though...looks much easier to clean!

I had one left over from my oldest son, and then I borrowed one my mom kept at her house. They were different designs/colors, so each boy knew which was his. To get started, I had them both sit on their potties during a TV program, so it was essential to have two.

Hmmm...I never put my potty chair anywhere but the bathroom. My bathroom is small so I bought one potty chair and a potty ring with a stool. This worked well for us.

Yup we bought two. I didn't want the girls fighting over one, and they would have. We keep them in the bathroom when not in use, the girls always drag them out into the living room, for some reason, when they want to use them. lol

My older two never really took the potty chairs, they did better with a seat on the big potty. Emma and Eli seem to like theirs though.

We have two potty chairs and definitely need both of them. Even with two potties, Grace pushed Elizabeth off hers yesterday because Grace wanted both of them. [IMG]

I bought 2 also, now I use one in their room ( i close their door at night, so they can go to the potty without waking us up) and the other potty goes wherever. ( i liked the standard potty over the ring)
It's also good for if you are outside, camping or anywhere you don't want an accident.
They use the big potty mostly now, if they have a choice.
I bought a couple different one's, but liked the baby bjorn potty the best- plain and simple and white so it goes nicely with my decor( cause that is sooooo important) hahaha p
