Yup. Especially when you have to explain why they are not and yet they still insist they are.

YES.. I wrote a blog about it. I always say, Yes but his penis is a lot bigger than hers. Most people don't get it and are just shocked by the word penis lol

yes! i'm like erykah- i tell them "no, he has a penis". most people feel really stupid then. [IMG] to give them credit, i think it's more of a knee-jerk reaction to ask that question whenever they hear the word "twins".

No! I love it because I get to be a little snarky and those opportunities don't present themselves everyday! [IMG] [IMG]

Think of it as teaching someone there "one thing" they learn everyday! [IMG]

yes i get asked that too because the have similar features.

i explain no they can't be identical blah blah blah - they have similar features just like any other two kids born from the same mom and dad.

If I had a dollar everytime I was asked that question I would be a rich woman! I love it when you say "oh, yes they are twins." "yes, one boy, one girl." then the pause and you can feel it coming and in your mind your saying "no, no, don't say it, please, I know you are smarter than that. I'm begging you, use deductive reasoning skills, please, plea.." then it happens...."So, are they identical?" Sigh! "Uh, no they are not." And you shake your head and walk away. Dissapointed by the general public again!

Actually it is possible for them to be monozygotic (what is commonly referred to as identical). Wasn't tonight the night In the Womb aired on National Geographic? I don't have the channel but hoping to be able to see the show on tape. People who viewed the show might have even more questions for us now!
