I've tried just everything that I can do, my hip feels like it's going to explode most of the time. This is always a problem that I have it's just started very early this pregnancy.

    Thanks,
    Jen

i have a prenatal yoga dvd that has a TON of routines for every trimester. it has a routine in the second trimester for hip/back pain, and that has helped me out A LOT!

You might think I'm crazy but I actually went to a chiropractor to help me with the hip pain. Also, right before I delivered, Mikayla was breech and the doctor wanted to do a c-section on me. I went to my chiropractor and she did the "Wilson" move on me. Mikayla flipped right there in the office. When I went in for my induction/c-section they did an ultrasound and said, "Oh look, she has flipped, you can have a vaginal birth!"

I had the worst pain in my hips and sacrum when I was pregnant. Oh it was just horrid!! My peri sent me to PT and that helped a LOT. When I was on bedrest, he ordered PT to come to me, thank goodness! Do you think physical therapy might help? I hope you get some relief!!

I am using tricks from my running days to help with hip pain. I have a frozen 2 liter of soda which I set on the floor and then roll my hip over side ways. I roll from hip to knee and back again. If you can't roll ask someone to roll foryou while you lay on your side. I have foind the frozen 2 liter is a good substitute for the foam roller you can buy. It also ices the tendons which is nice. I will also lay on a tennis ball against my lower back to relieve pressure there. You can look up IT band and hip flexor stretches and remedies on the net.
