Any other 10 month olds not crawling?

I know I shouldn't obsess about milestones, but the girls have always been behind (4 weeks premature + about another 4 weeks behind). I can't access the TS Milestones I guess due to the server problems we've been having, so I just have to ask if anyone else has late crawlers. Both are sitting like champs, and pushing up really high when on their tummies, but not getting on their knees at the same time, so not even any rocking yet. I'm beginning to hate it every time someone asks about them crawling, or pulling up, I feel like I have to explain each time to defend my girls.

My guys will be 10 months next week. They were 6 weeks early. One is not crawling but is pulling up to stand (well attempting to) so maybe he'll skip it

at 10 mos my DD was not yet crawling - could sit up without issues and actually pull up and stand (and would cry if you didn't put her against something to stand up!) and suddenly she got up on her knees one day to chase the cat and that was it! by 12 mos 2 weeks she was walking...and mine were born at 36 weeks also...

One of mine crawled at 9 months actual, the other not until 12.5 months actual. They are on opposite end of all milestone scales, but both still in normal range according to EI (my late crawler isn't walking yet, but took a couple steps this weekend).

Both of mine didn't crawl until 11 months and then they both walked at 13 months. They will get it.

Crawling is technically not a milestone. My boys didn't crawl until they were one and walked by 16 months. They were full term but did have a gross developmental delay. They weren't even sitting on their own at 10 months old. I think they look for some form of movement, whether it be crawling, scooting, rolling, etc. Once they got crawling, they pretty much took off from there. The physcial therapist was shocked.

My girls will be 10 months next week, and they were 6 weeks premature. They both are not crawling yet. They sit up right now, but one still falls over quite a bit with that. They push up high on their hands when on their tummies, but they're not pulling their knees up yet.

mine are a little over 10 months now, and just started commando crawling about a week ago. i know what you mean about obsessing, but as long as they seem to be doing well otherwise, i'd just let it happen. when they are on their belly, i do try to encourage them getting up on their hands and knees and support their belly a bit, but for some strengthening, but i know they will do it when they are ready (and hopefully I will be ready too!!!!)

My oldest, 9 days late, did not crawl until 10 1/2 months. My twin girl just started (before 9 months) and my boy started army crawling around the same time. My oldest couldn't pull up to stand until after her first birthday and she still walked at 14 1/2 months (normal). She's a great walker, and will walk everywhere, while her "early walker friends" rather take a ride (I never gave her much of a choice either ;)).

Thanks everyone, I know we'll get there eventually, and I'll probably be wishing they weren't as mobile! ;)
