O.k. I don't know for sure if he is obsessive/compulsive but... he lines up all his toys and won't let his brother touch them, he can't stand to have even a speck of lint in his path, his blanket has to be layed out perfectly (no wrinkles), must wash his hands a million times a day, and the list goes on! At first I thought it was a phase but now I'm not so sure. Any one else dealing with this? I think I am going nuts!

Oh wow... those sound like OCD behaviors...

Zack is very particular about things... when we go over to my moms, the toys have to be where they last were, and he stacks the dog food cans in the window seal each and every time we are there.

It could be that he is just particular? Have you talked to the DR about it or told her/him your concerns?

ETA: Here is a link to some informative info on OCD on a kids site.

One of my girls has a thing about germs. If she's eating something and it gets touched she won't eat it. So consequently if her sister wants something she has she touches it. Also she always want a clean spoon if she has cereal and puts it down on the mat and see's a bit of food on it she then wants a clean one.

Also when she's trying to write letters/alphabet, if she doens't get it perfect she get really frustrated.

Is this OCD I think maybe, not really sure wot to do about it.

We joke about it around here. Jason has always had a touch of it. He stacks his blocks according to colors & notices if something is out of whack.

Olivia is the same way. She has to wash her hands three or four time during meals. She needs to have full access to a box of wipes for cleaning/dusting purposes. She picks up things off the floor, any floor, if we are out shopping she will want to pick up garbage or whatever off the floors. I asked our dr about this & he said she;ll outgrow it, hopefully! It drives me nuts!!

We joke about Hannah being like that too. I think that she just craves order, routine, and neatness. Considering Ben is on the total opposite end of the spectrum, I have to say that sometimes it is refreshing!!!

That's definitely something to talk about at your 2 yr. appt. We have a focused orderly car lover around here, but he's not extreme. We mentioned it at 2 yr. appt anyhow!
