    Hi Everyone,
Just wondering if there are any members who live in Queens, NY--or around Forest Hills in particular. There is a MOTC near here somewhere, but was just seeing if there are any of you around!!!!!! Thanks

I'm sorry I'm not closer to you. I am in Suffolk county. Before we lived here, I lived in Bayside and I taught kindergarten in Flushing. Anyway, not sure if you are interested but I found this group if you want to check it out. Unfortunately they didn't seem to have a parents of twins group that was very near but this may be fun anyway.

Or, you can start your own Parents of Twins group for Queens. I'm sure there are plenty of other twin mommies looking for something like this. I belong to a Meetup Parents of Twins and Multiples group out here in Suffolk. I really love it and it's not like MOTC where you have to attend meetings. The only thing we attend are get togethers and fun playdates. GL and congrats on your twins.

Suffolk county here too..sorry to the OP! To the pp above, its such a small world! I met a mom at a MOTC meeting and then I ran into her a couple of weeks later in Target. She said that MOTC wasn't for her because she was looking to meet other moms of multiples for playdates and she found a a group thru meetup.com. I'm pretty sure its the same group listed above! Do you guys meet up at Selden and Comsquogue (sp?) libraries? I'm considering joining because MOTC is too difficult with the evening meetings and trying to get DH home in time for me to go. We'll see. -Leighann

    Hi,

I'm new here, but have been reading the forum for months. I have twin boys 3 months old and actually live in Forest Hills also (66th avenue); small world. I'd love to try to meet up with other moms in the area. I haven't really looked into where there are MOTC meetings nearby yet. I'm planning on going back to work in a week, but only for about a month and then I'll be home again.

I really hope to meet up with some local moms soon who understand what we're going through.

    Liz

I'm sure it is the same group because we meet up at both of those libraries (I think. Not sure about Comsquogue. Is that the one that is right off of middle country road? If so then yes we meet up at both of those libraries.) That was one of the places I was telling you about in our pm. It would be fun if you could meet us there one day.
