We live in Newnan, about 50 miles south of Atlanta.

I used to live in GA, and will be visiting Fayetteville with boys and DH in a couple months! Can't wait!

 

YES!! We live in Powder Springs, GA- a bit West of ATL in Cobb County.

 

A question for you all in GA. First we were going to move back that way, then started thinking we just suck it up and head west, but now dh is back to thinking Georgia again. so what can you all tell me about where you live, is it nice, hows the cost of living, decent jobs? How about hospitals, peds, etc?
Thanks for your help, we have to make a decision in the next week. Anyone know of companies hiring in that area?

 

What area are you looking at? We live in metro atlanta (northeast) and love it! Also, what sort of work is your dh looking for? There's a great network in our neighborhood for helping find jobs...I can check that out if I know what he's looking for. As for cost of living...it's not horrible...I think (last I looked) it was considered 100.4 (with 100 being the national average). Just PM if you need any more info! We love living here!

We are looking at pretty much every where. SOme of the place mentioned so far are Savannah and Macon, but we are open to anywhere.
