The ants have to be coming from somewhere, can you find where they are coming into the room and treat that area. I would temporarily move the babies somewher else until you get rid of the ants.

I don't know if this works, but we had lots of ants over the summer coming in looking for water b/c we are in the middle of a drought. Anyway, someone told us to sprinkle baby powder on the floor and that the powder burns their feet and they won't come there anymore. It is worth a shot!

    GL!

We had a drought here this past summer and the ants were horrible!! I swear if a crumb was left on the floor for more than a few minutes they were all over it!!

I kept spraying bug killer... but it was around the baseboards and such as that... I'm not sure since they are getting on the burp rags and such as that...

I agree you need to find where they are coming from. We had them really bad over the summer also. I also bought some raid ant traps and they seemed to work.
    Good luck

I agree with pp, move the babies and try to figure out where the ants are coming from. Can you guys spray around the perimeter of your house? We spray twice a year outside along the edge of the house and also up the foundation. Then I'd get some indoor ant traps for the room too. We recently had a problem with ants coming in our utility room. It was because the leaves were up against the house and wet. So we raked and spray and put traps in the room and the problem was solved. GL!

Call an exterminator and have the house sprayed ASAP!

If you plan to buy the ant traps make sure and get the ones that say the stuff will kill the queen otherwise it won't work for long. I would move the babies asap until the ants are gone.
