    Had mild preeclampsia so dr wanted to deliver the twin before it turns extreme. First of all, baby B had been flip flopping through out the entire pregnancy. I went in on Thursday night and was given cervidrel at 8:30pm (at this time baby B was head down), went into labor at around 5am on Friday. Dr examined me at 8:30am, was 2cm and he broke my water. By 9:30am I had my epidural and was already 5cm, at which time the dr did another u/s and my dear baby B was now breech!! I was given my options but played it safe and went with the c-section. Baby A (Anthony James) was born at 10:11am weighing 5lb 7oz and Baby B (Lorenzo Edward) was born at 10:12am weighing 6lbs 2oz...neither needed any NICU time. Both scored a 9 on their apgar score! My last u/s at my peri was a week before my boys were born and was pretty accurate in terms of weight, Baby A measured 5lb 1oz and Baby B 5lb 11oz. With them gaining about the 1/2lb per week as expected, would bring them on a couple ounces away. They are doing wonderful!!

    Congratulations...sounds like a safe and not too eventful birth which is great, and the boys weights and apgar scores are fab!

    Congrats!!! It's a great day to be born, it's my birthday too! Amazing weights. Post some pictures when you have a chance.
