Addison has 2 pimple like places on the back and one one the front of her left knee - and I just noticed a HUGE one on her big toe - it is really red and angry looking - I have put neosporin on all of them. My Sil says they look like ant bites but I do not know how ants have gotten on my baby without me noticing - I have not put her down outside and we don't have ants inside - my MIL who has not seen them told me on the phone to beware of staph - does anyone know what that would look like??? I think I will take her to the pedi in the morning -or should I take her now?? otherwise she seems fine!?

Just because you dont see a flea on the dog doesnt mean that there are not a random few in your house. I am not trying to say you have them, but it can be a possibility. If you live in a warm climate or where it has been an Indian Summer there is still the potential for them.

Definitely agree. Mine get these bumps occasionally. I had to take my older DD last Fall to the Dermatologist because she kept getting these strange bites. First they would pimple and then have a small circle around them and then in about 2 days they would mostly be gone. We have dogs and live in FL. We use Flea and Tick prev so I swore I didnt have fleas. But it is just so dang warm here for so long that I think everyone has pets has them. And the bumps would show up on the trunk of my DD or legs or arms. So the Derm said either flea bites or maybe something called Papular Urticaria. Google it and there are pictures and see if they match up. Mine did and it says that flea bites can trigger it. Or go to Derm Atlas. They have great pics of bumps and stuff. Can you tell I was obsessed last Fall? I was preg with the twins and did not want whatever she had, and good to know it was totally harmless.

I'm going to google it right now! thanks! I didn't think about chicken pox - I'm glad Becky brought it up because it was something I hadn't considered and I let her ride in the front of the shopping cart about a week ago which is something I NEVER do but my friend convinced me that she would love it (Ava stayed with my mil) and she did - but I was thinking that it would come back to bite me in the rear end! and chicken pox would be so bad! I can't believe that I am hoping for fleas but I am!! thanks for the info!!!!
and.. while I was pregnant with the girls I was such a paranoid freak - I would not let my kids kiss me on the face - I feel so bad for it now!!!! I was terrified that they would bring something home from school !!
