another TMI question

I wiped just now and it was like someone blew there nose on the toliet paper...very clear no red or brown tint, a girl at work said it was my mucus plug? it wasn't a lot but she said when she lost hers it was took about a week....could this be?

 

doesn't sound like your plug to me. Sounds just like discharge that can get heavy at times.

 

My mucus plug had a reddish brown tint to it. I went into labor 3 days later though I'm sure the dr. doing a vaginal exam that day didn't help. I went to L&D when I had the tinting and they discovered I was having contractions that I didn't even feel. I don't think this was your mucus plug though.

 

I never had discharge that was like snot if it wasn't my mucus plug. I guess it could be normal stuff though. I would say to watch for any other signs and symptoms. What do I know though?!

 

I never saw my plug, but my DH did… I was in l&d having my contractions monitors when all of a sudden I felt something come out (I thought it was a foot) turned out to be my plug, but in my freak out I made DH look and he freaked because he said it looked like a small kidney… called in nurses and she said, nope, it her plug… we were young and freaked over everything…

 

actually they look different to a lot of people-- I'd get it checked out if you're concerned about it.

 

could be discharge... could be plug... contact doctor to be safe!!!! Note any other symptoms as well!

 

Well, I would say it could be either one, but it never hurts to be safe at your stage. I would definitely check with the doctor to be sure.

This was my thinking too, but I would still get it checked out to be sure.

 

I have this same thing once in awhile. It looks like snot, right? I asked the Dr. about it and he said it's normal discharge. I was kinda worried at first, too.

 

yup that's what it looked like, I haven't seen any today so I am guessing it's not the infamous PLUG
