Another Teacher gift question

DO you do them for teacher appreciation week or just the end of the year? I didn't do one for T/A week because the PTO does a HUGE celebration of the staff that week. We donated to the PTO cause.

I am just curious because our school doesn't end for another 3 weeks and I was planning something for the last week of school.

 

I gave each of their teachers a planter with flowers in it for teacher appreciation week (we prettied it up with ribbon and a hand-made card in a pick). Just their classroom teachers. Our PTO did 3 meals, chair massages, little gifts each day, a cookbook, and something else I can't remember for teacher appreciation last week. I typed up/edited the recipes (because that's the kind of thing I do as my day job anyways) and I made some food for two of the meals.

At the end of the year, which is mid-June for us, I will probably do some cookies for all their teachers (gym, art, music, etc.) I'll give cookies to their classroom teachers as well, but I'll probably also add a coffee place gift card with it. I saw something on pinterest that had a label saying "Thanks for helping to make me a smart cookie".

I am in their classrooms to volunteer once a week, and bless those teachers, they have a rough job! I love my children dearly, but to be surrounded by 22 all the same age all day, everyday, I'm not cut out for it!

 

Our PTG did a lot for TA also. I planned on giving our gifts end of the year, which is mid June here. :good:

 

Our PTA also things each day during teacher appreciation week for the teachers, so I don't do anything else for the teachers that week. I do always contribute and help out with the PTA during that week though. :good:

So I just plan to give the teachers each a gift card at the end of school each year. :good: That's how I have always done it and my oldest is in 5th grade. :good:
