another synagis question

    For those of you that got Synagis for bigger babies, did they get one shot in each leg so as to split the volume or just all of it in one shot?

    I feel like last year my kids were around 16 lbs and got a half shot in each leg. This year they are 24 lbs so they need a really large volume but the nurse just did the whole thing in one leg. It looked really painful - my poor babies!

    Ours got it split with a shot in each leg, and they had two nurses do it at the same time, one on each leg - so it was over quickly.

    My girls were not but about 15 pounds and were getting it in two shots instead of one. I know that had to have been painful to get it all in one shot. :(

    Ditto. N is 26lbs and M is 22lbs.

    My girls got 2 shots quickly in one leg while I held them.
