We are planning to use some gift money to buy a stroller, but which one? I would like to buy a good one to start with so that we aren't constantly looking for the next best thing. I like both the Combi Twin Sport and the Citi Mini double stroller - at least from what I've read online. They aren't available within two hours of where I live. Any thoughts? The Combi looks like it would travel wonderfully, but I love the easy fold feature and the sun shades on the citi mini. I don't like the high price on the citi mini or the fact that you have to buy all the accessories in order to have a cup holder for the kids. Is the Citi Mini practical for mall outings and such? What has your experience been? I live in a small town with decent sidewalks and plan to walk the girls around a lot.

The citi mini is my dream stroller. With the snack/cup holder option of course! I've been looking at the Combi as I'd love a sbs, but can't talk DH into spending the money. I've heard great things about both strollers.

I don't know anything about the mini but we have the combi and love it! Lightweight, folds down easy, easy to stear and fits through all normal sized doors!

    Good Luck

I have a Combi Twin Savvy (now called the Sport). I love it. It is a great stroller to just throw into the back of the car and go. :good:

I have the Citi Mini and LOVE it! It's lightweight, so easy to maneuver, great sunshades, etc...the list goes on...:)

I think it just depends on how much your willing to spend. We have the Combi Twin Sport and we are just fine with it-and we actually started with a really high end side by side and exchanged it for the Combi. I think that the sun shades are better with the City Mini, but you can buy attachable sun shades that extend the Combi sunshades too. The Combi is lighter weight, but I dont think that the Citi Mini is too heavy either. We use our combi for everything-grocery shopping, walks, the zoo and its worked out great for us! But if you have the money and really like the Citi Mini go for it!

We have the Graco stroller. I like it b/c it is not wide. We also have a hand me down jogging stroller. My concern would be when you take them out shopping. They may be fine in places like grocery stores (if it is not busy) where it has wide rows , but if you go to department stores the area between racks is very small you will have a hard time. We just found out about something cool. At BRU you can get clips to make 2 single umbrella strollers a double stroller. We bought them for vacation. We are going with family, so if we get in a really crowded spot we can take them apart so it is not so wide, or if I am going to the store I might take one and leave one home with hubby, so I now have a single stroller too. Also, with our Graco, I liked it b/c when they were so small and it was cold or they were napping, we didn't even have to take them out of their carseats, they latched right into the stroller. Hope you find what works best for you! Happy shopping!

I'm going with the combi twin sport, #1 price, I can't see spending that much for a stroller. #2 we test drove one at babies r us and it's lightweight, easy to use, and for me I LOVE the handle all the way across it. The handles like umbrella strollers to me wouldn't work if you try to push it one handed. I ordered mine from babyage, found a free shipping code so I got it for $186. $34 cheaper than at babiesrus! :D I get it wednesday and can't wait!

I'm so glad you asked this because I've been debating between these two (and the Maclaren Twin Triumph and maybe the Inglesina Twin Swift) and trying to decide by Wednesday so we can take advantage of BRU's 15% off all strollers and carseats deal they've got going on right now!

Thanks, everybody, for the responses! I went with the Combi. The Citi Mini is still the dream stroller, but it's just too much. I also think the Combi will travel better. A lady in town has a lead on a double jogger for sale. It's around $50 and in good shape. I'm going to check that out for around town trips and attempting to lose the tummy I've got going.

We have the combi twin sport: http://www.albeebaby.com/combi-twin-sport-...ler-papaya.html It's going for $199. I love it. We've had it for about a month [maybe more.. my concept of time is waay off these days ] and have yet to find a flaw in it. It even fits in the trunk of our Honda Civic Coupe! It's got a snack cup [must have] and is easy to manouver, lightweight, easy to fold down, and is quite stylish IMO ;)

I just got my combi twin in papaya this morning! Babyage had them for $185 and I found a free shipping code (just google free shipping code babyage). I LOVE it so far!! Not too heavy for a twin stroller, folds nicely, looks comfy for the babes! I was pushing my 32 lb 2.5 yr old in it in the house, and even with just her weight on one side and no-one on the other it pushed/turned super easily!

It came today just as I got home from work. We have the Combi in carbon. I haven't taken it outside yet, but I did play with it in the house. It folds nicely. It's a bit bigger than I imagined, but not bad at all. It will definitely leave a lot more room in the minivan for the dogs when we travel. I can't wait until school is done for the year and I can get the girls out and about town.
