another sippy cup question?

My dd knows how to drink from the sippy cup (water) but she dont know how to tip it to get more, once she gets to where she get it she throws a fit cause she dont know how to get any more , any tips or just let her figure it out.....DS puts it on his mouth but nothing, and there 11 months old (9 months adjusted)

 

My boys kind of had to figure it out naturally. From time to time, I would tip it for them so that there neck and head would adjust and eventually they caught on that that is the only way they could get more. Sorry I'm not that big of a help!

 

That just takes time for them to learn. She will get there.

 

She will definitely get there. You can always tip it for her or show her how by holding it yourself as if you were going to drink from it. GL!

 

I'd try putting juice or something in there - I know with my girls once they tasted that it didn't take long. Now, we hardly have juice but they know what to do.

 

She will eventually get the hang of it, or you can also try straw cups.

 

Since she is still getting bottles I wouldn't worry about it and would just give it time and let her figure it out on her own.

 

I finally found the sippys with the straws and bought them....DD had little trouble , But I gave it to her while we were driving, by the time we got to where we were going, she had drank all of it.....I was so happy, So thanks for the tips....cups with straws work out great....DS drank from it but no much......but I will keep on trying
