I noticed that most of you bathe your babies in the evening. My babies are fussy in the evenings and I'm wondering if a bath would calm them and help them sleep. I have been bathing mine in the mornings as part of our wake time. If your babies are fussy in the evenings, does your bath calm them or make things worse?

We've been doing baths in the evening from the start. Definitely calms them, and they sleep so much better after their bath.

    Try it!

I also have been doing it in the evening from the start. My girls do get cranky in the evening, and when they start then I put them in the bath. They get so happy when its bath time, and they sleep SOOOO much better.

we dso baths everynight around 5, then bottle and then if we are lucky bed by 7. If they are fussy, i hold off on the bath because they will cry right through it; it does not calm them if they are already upset. I noticed latetly i have to give them a couple of ounces to hold them off and then they are happy and after their bath, we finish their bottles

Baths definitely help break up the cranky time in the evening!

They've calmed down a lot as they've gotten older, but a warm bath always made my fussy babies happy. And there's that Lilac Bedtime bath, or whatever it's called....very relaxing.
