Yesterday was my day off from work, I had been complaining for about a week, that NONE of my shoes fit. So hubby, being a major sweetheart took me shoe shopping. I pointed, he fetched and helped me put them on! ^_^ I ended up buying shoes that are 2 sizes too big, just so they would fit the swelling.

Now today at work.. THEY ARE TOO TIGHT!!! WTH?!?! I have big feet the shoes I bought yesterday where 11's I dont know what Im going to do if the swelling continues. I just might have to come to work with slippers on! haha

Any suggestions to help with the swelling? Im drinking water, trying to keep my feet up... Anything Im not thinking of?

    Thanks Ladies!!!!!

I bought a pair of slip on shoes that also had a strap that could make them bigger. Ugly but worked.

Swelling- I live by this and believe it to be one of the biggest must haves for pregnant women. Cran juice. 100% cranberry juice NOT from concentrate. Add a shot of it to every glass of water you drink (you'll get use to the taste). Sometimes I also add it to sprite or something like that for a little variaty. Trader Joe's has it at a good price. There is a Trader Joe's in Tacoma- University Place. The Safeway here has it, so does Fred Meyers. It'll take a couple of days. First You'll notice going pee just a little more then the swelling will start to go down. Stick it out- it works! The relief. I have very little problem with swelling now, but only cause I found this.

    Good luck!

Lol, I was going to suggest slippers [really comfy ones!] if you could get away with it at work. I found that if you put your feet up and drink lots of water it helps a bit.

Lol, okay i so remember this! I swear i'm not laughing at you just the thoughts of how much i would get frustrated and upset because i was sooooo swollen. It was terrible and with the twins...the swelling started around 12 weeks. i had one pair of sandals that barely fit me or i would of been SOL. I was huge! Talk about cankles....it was horrible. I'm sorry you are dealing with this...it just plain sucks to put it straight! I would just wear what is comfortable (even slippers if your work allows). It will get better once you have them, but until then do whatever you can to stay off your feet and drink lots of water.
