Another nap question

Ok what do you guys think is going on, over the last week and a half DD will not nap longer then an hour, some days only 45mins. She used to sleep at least 2-2.5hrs. I have no idea what is making this change. DD and DS share a room and until we buy our next house we just can't seperate them, she wakes up crying and yelling Mommy and it wakes DS up as well. She is cutting some molars but this doesn't effect her night sleeping, any thoughts? Hopefully just a phase?

 

We go through phases like that off and on. It tends to be either teething or they are sick or getting sick. We just went through about 4-5 days where they only napped 40 minutes each day and I thought I was going to go nuts!! They had a cold and are also working on teeth, and even though their night sleep has been fine, their naps were wacky (and naps always seem to be the first thing to get messed up for us).

I would give it a bit of time and see what happens. Hopefully it is just the teething and/or a phase and it will work itself out soon. We are back to 1.5 hour naps thankfully!!

 

I should also mention that is started around the time we started giving her 1/4tsp of Zrtec before bed for her allergies and this is also timed with waking up cranky in the morning, but like I said she is also teething. Who know, I think tonight I'll skip the zyrtec since her allergies seem to be getting better.

 

We went through some rough sleep at around 18-20 months, we just pushed through and they did start sleeping better again It was probably teething for us, it could be the same issue for you. :hug:
