I have a double snap n go for outings and want to get a jogging stroller for walks around the neighborhood. Mind you, I do NOT jog. I will just be using this for walks. I just like the jogging stroller because of the larger wheels and style. I just read on another forum that you can't use a jogging stroller until baby is a year old?!?!? Is that true? Is that just because of the jarring ride from going faster when jogging? Can you use a jogging stroller for gentle walks newborns? Or do the seats not recline enough? Help! Does anyone know of a jogging stroller with the larger wheels that you can use when babies are new and that will grow with them into toddler age?

If the seat reclines and the kiddos are safely buckled in, then you can use the jogger. We started using one around 4 months old. They were tiny in it so we rolled up blankets around them. I've never heard of not being able to use it until they are a year old.

I feel like I am pimping the Valco all day today. I absolutely love my Valco Twin Trimode. (www.valcobaby.com)
It has grown very well with my boys and they still ride awesome in it. GL on your stroller search.

A jogger was the only stroller I ever had! I started using it at three months. There are infant inserts you can use if they need more head support. The insterts are around 20 dollars each.

Im in search of a jogger too. My pedi said 6 mo., however when I was in at 4 mo she said because they have good head control they would be fine. I think the other thing with the joggers is you have to worry about them getting dehydrated, and that depends where you live. I live in florida so it gets pretty hot, but you can but those front covers for them.

I started when my girls were 2 or 3 months old, I just didn't jog.

We started at 5 months old, which was when it was warm enough in MI. to really start using it a lot.
