another "Is this normal" question

Saw the OB today and he wants to start seeing me every 2 weeks. This is in addition to seeing the peri once a month....so far. Is this around the same time everyone else starting seeing their ob every 2 weeks? Just wondering if he is seeing something he needs to keep an eye on and not telling me so I will not freak out. I wish I didn't have to question everything...geez.

 

I started seeing my OB every two weeks around the same time...maybe closer to 19 weeks? She said today that she likes to do it so she can check them out and make sure they're growing and there aren't any problems with TTTS (twin to twin transfusion), ect.

Totally normal. I'm sure if there were something to worry about, your OB would have told you.

I saw mine every two weeks as well, but from the very beginning. I didn't have any issues or anything at the time, but my OB was super cautious.

 

i just had my OB check up today also and they told me i will be seeing them every two weeks now, in addition to the peri every 4 weeks. she said its just so they can keep an eye on my cervix even though it looks great so far!!

 

i hit my twice a week appts. as of the 16th and that is 30 weeks so i guess i am fortunate to not of had to of gone so frequently until now.

 

I have been twice a week since 14 weeks. I have a super cautious doc. No problems as of yet just careful watching.

 

My OB just informed me at 23 weeks that I need to see them every 2 weeks and see the Peri every month for an ultrasound. They said it just to monitor me and to get BP and cervix assessment.

 

I found out at 21 weeks and started going to the peri every 3 weeks, until 28 weeks, and then it was every 2 until 32 weeks, and then every week after. I am sure he would tell you if there was something to worry about. It sounds like he is taking great care of you!:hug99:

 

I see mine once a month. Then at 26 weeks every two weeks and at 32 weeks I go every week.
