We found out recently that Baby #3 is a girl! Our concern is that the twins seem to attract so much attention when we go out, I don't want this new little girl to feel left out or in her big sisters' shadow. If it had been a boy I don't think I would be worried about this b/c he would have been 'different' - does that make sense? Any thoughts?

I think you will be fine - the twins will attract attention because they are twins and the new baby will because she is the baby! eventually you will probably have people ask if they are triplets!!!

My ds#1 and #3 are 4 yrs apart and people always think I have 2 sets!! Dawson is WAY smaller than Tad!! the first time I was asked if they were twins - Dawson was a NEWBORN (2 weeks old) and Tad was 4. I had a double stroller (side by side) and they were both in the stroller - it was CRAZY! I had never wanted to say YES so bad in my entire life!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! little girls are so sweet!!

I am in the same boat. I am 32 wks with a girl. My two girls now are SO close, and get SO much attention, I do worry that this little one will feel left out. But as PP said, I think because she will be the baby, she will get attention too.

My baby attracts more attention than my twins do! I wouldn't worry too much about it! Congrats on the pink team!

I'm in the same boat as you. My twins will be 16 months old when this one is due. I think the one good thing with having them closer in age is that it might break up some of the "twinness" and hopefully all three will play together since they willl be of similar ages. I'm sure my stroller with three kids will attract enough attention no matter what their ages. I'm not looking forward to more "you have your hands full" comments but I'm bracing myself for it. I was just starting to get used to the less attention now that the twins are older.........

We have 3 girls (the twins were our first) and I don't see any favortism like that when we go out. Actually, with Reagan being a good inch or two taller than Morgan, most people don't even think they are twins. Or, with Olivia, she draws attention b/c of all the hair she has. She's only 10 months old and it's past her shoulders in the back...lol! Plus, she's a chunky baby so she gets all the "look at those cute cheeks, oh I could just squeeze her and hug her" comments.

I don't think you'll have any problems. GOODLUCK!

As the twins get older, they will attract less attention. And, as the others said, people love babies so your newest little girl will get her fair share those first few years. :)
