Ours were in separate sacs and had their own placentas. They are B/G , and they definitely look like brother and sister.

  4. Ours are in seperate sacs/placentas and I am fortunate enough to have had an ultrasound that showed that the ovary had released two eggs (therefore knowing fraternal) however, I dont know what they look like for a couple more weeks [IMG]

My boys are identical, they shared 1 placenta but were in 2 seperate sacs. They look pretty identical. You can check them out here my babies

It depends on what sacs you're talking about. Babies in separate chorionic sacs have separate placentas, so they could be identical or fraternal. Identical twins sharing a chorion usually have separate amniotic sacs (less than 1% are monoamniotic), but if they truly share a placenta they are always identical.

Ours girls had a separate sac and placenta. They look a lot alike. Few people outside the immediate family can tell them apart. We never had them tested to be sure. We just assumed because of separate placentas they must be fraternal.

Our girls had 2 placentas and are identical. We had them tested shortly after birth because we weren't sure. I couldn't tell them apart for 4 months at all. They do still look alike to most other people, but they look so different to me now, that if i had not had them tested, I think we would have convinced ourselves they were fraternal because we can see so many differences.

Ours are Identical they had TTTS, and had one placenta and one sac with light membrane between them. Not sure if that counts as one sac or 2.

Our boys were in separate sacs and had separate placentas. We haven't had them tested, but most people cannot tell them apart so we think they are probably identical.

Becca, if your girls had a membrane between them, then they each had their own amniotic sac (they just shared a chorion).

Dana, your boys definitely look identical to me! What cuties they are! [IMG]
