Another formula question

So I know the formula company sais to throw away unused formula after 24 hrs in the fridge. Do you all do this? On the days that I work I make the bottles the night before for the next day. Sometimes, we'll wind up with 1 or 2 left over at the end of the day and I always dump them out. Do you think this is necessary or could they still be used say, first thing the next morning - they would be about 36 hrs old at this point... In the fridge the whole time...

I have used them with out any ill effects on the kids but I have never gone past 36 hours with them Remember when it comes to infant supply companies they are very conservitive on the warnings

 

I think you should be ok if you use it early the next day. I agree that they have to be more conservative & they like your $$$ too.

 

if it comes from the fridge i dont throw any of it out. I use it within 1-2 days and they are fine so dont dump it.

 

If in the fridge, I kept a little longer than the can said I could...

 

I throw mine out unless it's only a couple of hours past the 24. Over-cautious I'm sure, but that's just me.

 

I'm with Jennifer, as long as it's used within 1-2 days I think it should be fine.

 

Since my girls were 6 mos old I began making batches of formula to last for 2 whole days in the fridge. I have NEVER had a problem with the girls getting
sick at all. It is just easier for me to make 2 days worth of bottles and store them in the fridge. I also agree.. Formula companies like too much of our $$$.
