    Hi Everyone!

I went in for an induction on Monday at 38 weeks. They started the Pictocin around 9:30pm and it went on all night long without much change. Then my baby a's water (Annalise) was broken the next morning (12 hours or so later) and I went from 4cm to completely dialated in two hours! My dr. said that I had a very strong bag of water, which is why I walked around dialated and effaced for four weeks without going into labor.

They were both born vaginally Tuesday, November 6. She came out with a few pushes at 1:39pm and he (Nikola) came out with a few pushes three minutes later (after his bag of water was broken) at 1:42pm. I've gotta say, things got a lot better after the epidural ;) . I'm glad my dr. recommended it :) . She said, just in case baby b changes position and I need a c-section, take the epidural.

They were 5lbs. 6 oz., 19 inches long and 18-1/2 inches long.

We've been doing well as a new family. We're so excited they're finally here. Here are some pics of them right after they were born:

Thanks everyone for the encouragement and advice. I'm looking forward to FY!

    Thanks everyone! I love compliments on our babies :) :) :) .

The secret to lasting long in a twin pg...hmmm...I don't know if it's something I did per say. I don't know if it's something someone can do necessarily. However, I did have a highly stressful job that was very active with many hours...exhausting. I did not work long pg before quitting to be a SAHM early. I did this to protect the pg b/c I just knew the stress of the job would cause problems in it. Also, I was having contractions at 34 weeks 2 days that Morphine stopped. They termed it false labor, but think it could have progressed. Actually, I showed early labor symptoms starting two days before then and went on for 4 weeks up until I delivered. It took my bag of water being broken to bring on active labor during an induction. My Dr. said a strong bag of water kept me from going into labor. This happened to my mom with all three of her singleton pgs - she had to have her's broken too. She went over 40 weeks with each of them. I know that taking good care of yourself during pg - from cutting out stress to bedrest when needed - will lengthen a pg from everything I've read. I really took it easy the last 2 months of pg, went on modified bedrest for 12 days after the contraction scare and prayed to go full-term. I hope this helps :) .
