Angelbug had his 4 month follow up appointment today due to his open heart surgery back in September. Everything looks GREAT! He still has a small murmur but the cardiologist said that its completely normal. Angelo was real flustered but could you blame him?! He's constantly getting poked at! Anyways.. in 6 months he'll have a sedated echo to be sure everything is okay and then after that, he won't be back for a couple years.. woohooo!

Now, next week.. appointment to figure out whats going on with his thumb and when surgery will be performed. Cant wait to get this all behind us!

anyways.. through it all.. check out this handsome, happy, and YES HEALTHY 26lb6oz.. babyboy!
note : check out his leftthumb so you get the idea of whats wrong

So glad to hear the appointment went well. Max had his open heart surgery back in July and when we took him in for his check up in November they said that everything looked and sounded great, ekg, echo, blood oxygen, and heart ultrasound. We don't have to go back for check up until after his 1st birthday. Isn't it the most wonderfully feeling to have a good appointment after all the surgery worries? Congrats on the good news.

By the way one of Max's nurses called his surgery scar his life line. She said it was the line necessary to give him the beautiful life he deserved. So I feel we both have extra special boys with life lines who are destined to live beautiful lives.

Very well said ! Although we call Jaydens his "zipper" .. "lifeline" describes it SO perfectly. As Jayden has grown older he knows that that scar was made when the Dr "fixed" his broken heart .. but I know that that is how the Dr saved his life and has given me the most precious gift I could have ever asked for.
