Just curious if anyone has been looking into angel monitors and what you decided? They're a little pricey and false alarms scare me but I'm still leaning towards ordering them. DH isn't too committed either way about them so it doesn't make for good discussion or pros and cons in our house.

We have a 4 year old but I think if these would have been available or if I would have known about them at the time I would have probably pushed to use one with him too.

    What do you think?

I had them, used them and LOVED them. I highly recommned them just go to Amazon.com and read the reviews on them. They will brign you to tears! They truly save lives!

I thought mine was a piece of crap that went off all the time for no reason. It was more worry to use it than not to! That being said there are lots of people who liked them so I think it is up to you. Also if you plan on putting them in a Pack and play or putting a wedge under their mattress it wont work properly because it needs to be on a flt firm surface. Also my boys ended up sleeping in their papsan chairs for the first two months so it just wasn't worth it for me.

Our's went off for no reason - but it did give me peace of mind. I wouldn't have used it for the twins but they came home on apnea monitors anyway. I'd say get it if it'll help you get quality sleep at night. I'll take false alarms for good sleep anytime.

We have them but we never used the sensor pads. The NICU told us not to bc their breathing was so light that it would never sense it anyways. So we didn't....we still use the monitors and honestly you can hear them breath on there...they are awesome! Never the slightest bit of static:)
