This morning the babies & I were having our morning snuggle time in bed. They were both laying right next to me, talking & playing. Well, they have both had colds & I was wiping Luke's nose (which he hates) and I heard a thump & a cry and Lila was on the floor (the hardwood floor)! :cray: She was that fast, I didn't even see her move! It wasn't more than 10 seconds that I was wiping Lukes nose & she was off! I feel like the worst mom, I guess I'm not used to her moving yet, but I have had other babies, I should know how quick they can be! Anyway, she is fine. She didn't even cry for long & now I am chasing her all over the house, not so much as a bump or a bruise. I think I feel worse than she does! :(

You're not the worst Mom, you're a MOM!! Welcome to the I've let my child fall off the bed club!!!! :D I totally think it affects us more than them. Glad everyone is okay. IMO, bumps and bruises only make them stronger (my way of covering up my inadequacies!).

Been there, done that, bought the T-Shirt!

You are not a bad MOM, because a bad mom would think there was nothing awful about their child falling off a bed. :)

I posted this exact same thing when Dylan was 7 months old. He woke up in the middle of the night and I brought him to bed with me.... I was holding him and fighting to keep my eyes open and I lost the battle when I "thought: he was asleep. a min later i heard a thud and crying I cried for hours after he was sounds asleep...

Yous not the worst mom or even close to it.... (((HUGS))) try not to feel bad:)

I agree too. Sophie fell off the bed one day and then the next day theres me thinking i am being super carefull when i turn round to grab something off the floor and Jack falls off! :vava: I felt absolutley awfull. So now we dont go on the bed at all! I think it happens to nearly everyone at some point. Big :hug99: to you, these things happen. x

Welcome to the club. It happened for my Simon about three weeks ago. At least our babies have all come through unscathed.

Now you know what the phrase, I felt my heart in my mouth means.
