and i thought having newborns was exhausting

oh my gosh, they run me ragged. Even with lots of help from my husband, I'm exhausted on weekends. They just don't stop and Jake is an inconsistent napper on weekends.

And the whining, I can't decide which is worse, whining or a newborns scream.

At least when they were little, THEY DIDN'T RUN AROUND LIKE MANIACS.

Ok, vent over.

 

I know each stage is better/worse than the one before for several reasons. I was just telling my dh how exhausted I am lately the girls are runnin me raggid!

 

There are days I can TOTALLY relate to what you are saying. Life now is a whole lot busier in so many ways and it is soooo exhausting!! :hug: :hug:

But then I stop and think they don't need to be held all.the.time. and they do play independently, which is nice.

 

You know...sometimes I think the same thing...but then I helped my girlfriend out for a day with her newborn twins...and BELIEVE ME newborns are a thousand times harder!

 

It's all exhausting.

The exhaustion just transforms. Just like the fun transforms.

It's just a different kind.
