anatomy lesson from an almost-3-yr-old

Last night, out of the blue, Ivy told me, "I think Pooh bear's penis must be hiding somewhere in his butt."

Well of course! Pooh bear is a boy, boys have penises, but you can't see one on Pooh bear...aha, that explains it! :rotflmbo:

So what have your kids said to crack you up lately?

Last night in the bathtub, Coop was mystified that his penis was "stuck" to him. He kept saying "Penis stuck mommy, Penis stuck" as he is trying to rip it off his body. :blush:

 

That's funny. Mine are just starting to talk but Jake's thing lately is Whoa. When he see something that's either new or he likes he'll say whoa, whoa. Plus he'll do it with a rise in his voice.

I can't wait for them to actaully start talking. It will be interesting to see what comes out of their mouths.

Not only what she said but what she did last night at dinner. We looked over and she had put at least 5 edamame beans in her sleeve. When asked why she had beans in her sleeve, she said, "eat later yummm"

The other day the girls were eating dinner and I was at the sink.
Out of no where I got,
"Mommy, I'm OK".
Made me think that I guess I often ask, " Avi, are you ok, Lilah are you Ok?"

I was getting dressed in the bathroom with the door open and I was in the middle of changing my panty liner.
Avi walks in and says
"Mommy changing diaper just like Avi"

I LOVE this stage!!!! (let be clear, I love this stage of the talking)

 

LOL! It's never once occurred to me that Pooh Bear ought to have a visible penis, heehee.

Karina talks to her food. Earlier, she dropped a grape on the ground, and as it rolled away, she jumped down from her seat and said, "Hey grape! Slow down. Where ya go-ning?"

 

:wub: So cute. I will keep that in mind when I start my Anatomy & Physiology class tomorrow! :laughing:

(and Becca, it sounds to me that Karina's expressive language skills are pretty darn good - you've said before you're slightly concerned she's behind.... give that girl a break! So cute - talking to the grapes!)

When DS and DD were much younger, I found my daughter looking between her legs for her penis.

On another occassion my DS asked my DH, "Why is your penis bigger than mine?"

I love the funny things they say!
