An idea that might entertain your toddlers.....

    Hi everyone,
    I posted about this in my buddy club and they encouraged me to post this here so that others might take advantage of this idea. I noticed the other day that my little ones enjoy looking at my screen saver on my computer. It is images of them that rotate through multiple pictures. So, I decided to make a DVD of the pictures to play on the TV so that the images were larger and I could add music. I know some of you have done video montages and such- so this might not be a "new" idea. However, it was super easy and the kiddos love it. I just downloaded Photo Story 3 (for free) onto my computer, chose pictures of the twins and then added some really fun children's music (the alphabet song, if you're happy and you know it etc.) to the pictures and burned it onto a DVD. Now I don't fee too guilty if they watch a little television. They are watching themselves, and learning some great songs in the process!
    Just a thought to help create another activity for them to during during those rainy days!

    That's a great idea. The boys do love the picture screen saver, but I never thought of taking it further. DH has a project for tonight!

    What a cute & creative idea!

    We have an AppleTV system and it streams a montage of photos across the screen when it is idle. The boys love to identify themselves and their family members when it is on.

    Your idea sounds like an upgrade of the AppleTV (which has no music with the photos)!
