ok! for those that have helped me get through this difficult time, we decided not to do the amnio. plus it was scheduled for tomorrow (friday the 13th) and there's no way i am doing it, lol.

my doctor called (my original, not 'multiple' OB) and he said that fluid in the kidneys, although it's a marker, is oftentimes nothing to worry about.

i feel much better and plan to relax for the rest of this pregnancy.

thank you. im no longer going to see the doc whom my ivf doc recomended. i am going to my regular ole' gyno whom i've been seeing for over 15 years. i just feel so much more comfortable talking to their group and felt much better about it. my high risk doc called me 3 times and it's only noon about the amnio. i just dont like people pushing me to do things i am not comfortable with.

Good for you for following what you feel was right. Some doctors just push and push for the amnio even when it is just for AMA and I think some women feel guilty if they don't get one. I never had one with either pregnancy and I don't regret it either.

I'm glad you feel a little better. I know that this pregnancy has been tough for me because of all the tests and all the speculation. With my first, I didn't have a care in the world! All you can really do is keep them as healthy as you can while they are inside of you. All the "they might be at risk for this or that" stuff really can stress us out!!
    Hang in there!

I am happy for you. I watch a lot of those preggo tv shows and it seems really common to have possible kidney issues that resolve them selves. I have had a no. of friends have the same concern and it resolve w/o any medical intervention. Heres to you and your babies!

I'm relieved you were able to come to a decision you are comfortable with. That's so important. Hopefully you can begin to enjoy the journey a little more now.

I'll be thinking happy thoughts for you!!
