Amazing!!!!

Emma counted to ten!!!! We were putting away books tonight and she started counting them. She missed 3 so we took them back out and started over. Then she counted all of the way to 10!!!! I am in shock. I cried like a baby. Where has the time gone? When did they grow up????????

 

That's great I remember when mine started counting and they always skipped 7! It was too funny! Now they call 11 "eleventeen" and they love to count to 17 for some reason!

 

I know, I'm amazed every day! Toddlers are awesome!

Melissa, I think the seventeen thing is that extra syllable. My girls have always had a seventeen thing too.

 

that is totally amazing. my girls only name random numbers. it's more like they are reciting phone numbers than counting anything.

 

Missy - that is awesome!!!! Morgan counted to 3 the other day with DH, but I had never heard that before. I think it will be a long time before Reagan "gets it!"

Did you go to the zoo on Saturday? THey kept calling for rain all day adn the sky looked like it could pour at anytime, so we didn't go. I wish we would've gone though...it turned out to be a great day and never rained past noon. Oh well, guess I should've been a meteorologist!

 

No becky, we wimped out. I was afraid of getting soaked. Like you I wish we had. Oh well, the next decent day I AM taking them. I'll let you know when.
