Amara & Ava November 1st 2007

hello everyone my last visit to your site was on october 30th. i went in for my 39 week regular appt and i was only dilated to a 2 with light cx and the doctor didnt let me go home he sent me straight in to get set up for delivery they put me in a room and monitored me till the next morning wher he said if labor had not began naturally they would break my water and induce me. well i wanted a natural nonmedicated birth this obviously was against my wishes but the doctore said it was best because complications could arise because my uterus was so stretched out. anywho the broke my water at 830 the next morning and then the cx began and i had a 7 hour nonmedicated labor that i dilated to a 7 and then the doctor said that i had labored long enough and decided to do a c section. i was against it and i felt that if i could have labored just a couple hours longer i was have had them natural oh and baby a (Ava) had engaged to a plus 1 and i was completely effaced. sorry to sidetrack but if anyone reading this remembers any of my past posts i was complaining about how my hospital had been convincing me to do a csection my entire pregnancy. anyway i had no meds so they did a general spinal or something like that. and baby a, Ava Jasmin was born at 4 41pm and baby b, Amara Jade was born at 4 43pm. i stayed in the hospital 4 days and as for my 39 week uncomplicated pregnancy, my pains had just begun. i could not walk pee poop **** i was so drugged after the surgery i barely remember anything if it wasnt for my ma videotaping my in recovery i wouldnt know anything. i couldnt bathe myself or feed myself. i was a wreck. after i left the hospital i my pains continued severely for a week and then i started to bathe and feed myself more. the babies are 5 weeks now. oh im skipping things sorry

both babies were 6 pounds at birth
baby a ava had jaundice
babies are both breastfed and are now about 8 pounds each

Sorry the birth did not go as you planned and you were so drugged afterwards.
