I really really really would like to get pregnant right now! I want my kids close in age, even if we did have twins, and I keep doing the counting of months like they will be this old when the next baby is born, ect ect. Not to mention I have PCOS so I have no periods/ovulation so I would prolly have to do Clomid again. Sometimes I think I"m bonkers...anyone else have baby fever with babies at home??? We will prolly wait til at least end of summer and then go on Clomid in January...I just wish for an oops...sometimes I think these babies were too well planned for!!;)

Totally my opinion, but yes I would say you are  At 5 months they are still staying in one spot. Wait until they are mobile. Totally different ball game altogether.

I dont think you are too crazy. I knew when my girls were 6 weeks old that I wanted another baby... or babies. I was another "crazy lady" who wanted another set of twins AND I AM GETTING THEM!! Anyway, we started trying the fall after I quit nursing and got preggo the 1st month 1st try. Good luck to you and your family.

I don't think you're crazy! ..okay, maybe a little. haha. I couldn't imagine being pregnant again right now, but that's just me. I'm terrified of having another set of twins. I know it's less likely to happen because my twins are mono/di. My twins are still little and I'm just now starting to get out of the shellshock of having them, bu it's getting better everyday! Maybe in another month I'll want more babies! But I doubt it, haha! I think I'll wait at least 3-4 years

I think it's great that you are having such a good time that you want another set. I know my baby fever didn't start in until they were around 18 months old... then it went away and still comes back in spurts. Good luck to you!!

hehe.. I feel the same way but then i think to myself that i don't have any other children so i don't know what it is going to be like when they are mobile and running me crazy. So im sure that it will come in spurts for me too tho. I have to say thou that i have to quit watching "baby story" and "deliver me" because that only makes me want more sooner and I think i really would be crazy..

I also think it's great that things are going so well with your twins that you're game for more! I've had that thought--very fleetingly--but usually it passes quickly. ;) I think I'd really like these two to be potty-trained before having a third! (And I also have PCOS and would also probably need Clomid again ... but I really don't think I'd want TWO sets of twins! DH and I would both love to have the singleton pregnancy and parenting experience next. ;) Though part of me thinks, "But then the third child will feel so left out." Silly, I know.)

Nope not crazy! I got pregnant when my twins were 5 months old. Not on purpose though. Most my younger kids are 19 months apart, except for the twins and this baby they will be 13.5 months apart.

    Ditto the crazy part LOL
and I know you said you had PCOS and that you will probably have to use clomid again....let me tell you- we used clomid for our twins because I didnt ovulate either. I was breastfeeding and had not had a single period since I had the twins when I started feeling exhausted. I took at pregnancy test and sure enough BFP! So not only did I not need clomid, I didnt even need a period to get pregnant with this one. Talk about a shocker. Anything is possible. *they* say after your body reproduces once sometimes it rights things and makes things easier. I'll also tell you Im completely exhausted chasing the twins while Im pregnant and changing poopy diapers while Im completely nauseated is TERRIBLE!!!

This too shall pass for you, I hope! :)

Not crazy, I have pcos too and we started trying for #3 when my dd was 6 months old (the earliest my ob would let me since I had a c/s). I'm very thankful we started so early as it still took us 16 months ttc, with 2 m/c's in there. I think when you have fertility problems you look at things a whole lot different than you do when you get pregnant much easier! :)

Good luck with your decision! We are done, but I sometimes get baby fever even tho I know we're done! :D

I think you may be very right about this. I was 22 when I got married and five months later we found out we were pregnant! We weren't trying, but we weren't really preventing either. We wanted kids, but didn't think it would happen so soon! (We dated for 4 years before getting married) We honestly thought that we were going to have fertility issues. Then WHAM, we found out we were pregnant with twins! 100% naturally! Our friends used to make fun of my husbands sperm, saying that they probably had two tails and swam around in circles and that's why I never got pregnant during the years we dated. (so mean!) He was so proud when he found out that there were two babies, I think it made him feel like he had super sperm, haha!

Yes. You are crazy. ... hey,. you asked!! ;)

Remember, this time won't be like the first time. Now you're pregnant AND have twins! And THEN, you'll have twins AND a newborn which will mean NO SLEEP at night and non stop work during the day!!!

ENJOY this time now and try not to rush!!!! There's no reason to move that quickly, really, I needed IVF to have my twins. They're 19 months old now and I'm STILL enjoying THEM. IF I have another one, it will be a bit later on and if I don't.. okay but I'm not going to quickly have another one just cuz I had trouble conceiving. You know what i mean??

Anyway, obviously, my opinion but also wanted to remind you too that MANY folks get pg right away after infertility!!!

Good luck in whatever you decide and I AGREE wholeheartedly that it must be going GREAT for you to want more already. That's awesome. I think that's wonderful! Congratulations :)

I just wanted to echo the sentiments of a PP in saying you might want your twinks potty trained before you have another one or two. I thought I could get mine potty trained while preggo... WRONG... I am way too tired to be cleaning up pee for 10 days in a row, trust me I tried, they just were not ready. So I will have four in diapers in a week or so! But we are still excited. I am very tired though, keep that in mind too, you will be twice as tired with your second pregnancy AND have twins to chase after! But you do what is best for your family.

Theres no way i could imagine adding another baby to the mix now that i have the boys. im not sleeping enough as it is. Then again, i dont have to concern myself with whether or not to have more cause i got a tubal during the c section. Maybe if i was 10 years younger when they were born i might have considered another, but as it is im approaching 40, twins was a total surprise for us, and we feel we got really lucky to have had them come out perfect this time and werent willing to risk having another who had some serious issues.

Kenneth and Ian are 18 days old

Although I wish I could have gotten to experience having one baby at a time I don't have any desire to actually have another one. I didn't mind being pregnant. THe first 13 weeks stunk with the queasiness but once I started to show it was nice to have strangers open doors for me and just be a lot more polite. LOL But for me, having both twins with reflux has made these 5 months a lot tougher than I ever thought it would be. I wish I felt like you do because then maybe that would mean I wouldn't have felt as stressed out these past few months. :)

Haha thanks for sending me to the looney bin!! LOL! See really the potty training doesn't bother me bc I would rather not see the light at the end of the tunnel just to have to start all over again....I would rather just be crazy for about 4-5 years, have our babies, and then in a flash they will all be through the "baby" stage and we will have a bunch of fun toddlers running around and playing! Hard work? Yes, but I'm game for it:) We will see, DH is not quite ready yet and I'm enjoying my boys right now anyways....and yes they are GREAT babies and maybe thats why I'm ready for another! We always joke that they are so easy that we will have a singleton next time that will be super fussy/high maintenance that we will wish for twins! LOL!

I had baby fever when the twins reached about 4 months old. I'm sooooo glad we didn't try for another at that time though. There are so many more stages to go through just in that first year that it would have been difficult to be pregnant and I don't even want to imagine toddler twins with a new baby. I also got the baby fever at 10 months old.

I'm right there with ya, my girls are 11 months this week and DH and I already decided we are going to try for more next year... hopefully January... however for me to get pregnant I have to use injectible fertility meds which cost plenty of $$$ and LOTS of doctor's visits that are over an hour away.... so yea, its a lot I know, but we would love a set of boys!!! :) hopefully no more than two at once! :p lol j/k

Oh and we do not have easy babies.... both have reflux, one was colicky, and we also had NICU time for over 3 weeks.,.... so I know how hard it can be, but I just cant wait to have more babies to love... we always have wanted 4 kids...

P.S. After I just read my post I thought it was funny b/c its like I already assume I will have twins... lol
