Am I being paranoid?

    Hello-
I purchased the double snap n go stroller and have two Graco Snugride car seats. As I read the car seat manual tonight- it clearly stated the carseats should ONLY be used with the Graco travel system and that inappropriate use of the car seats with other strollers could result in serious injury or death. Am I being totally paranoid to now be thinking of returning the stroller for the heavier, bulkier travel system that goes with my seats? Anyone out there have ANY problems with their car seats and the snap n go? Any damage to the seats or issues with using the seats in the car seat bases after using the stroller? Feedback is appreciated.
    Thanks!

I used the Snugrides with my Snap n Go and had no problems. No damage to the seats at all. They just want you to buy their stroller ;)

One thing I remember is that one of the seats - I can't remember if it is the front or back one, did not 'snap' in place. It kind of just rested on the stroller and you strapped it in. It never ever moved or was in danger of falling off. I remember other twin moms saying the same thing back then. Just wanted to point that out in case it happens to you, and you think something is wrong!!

Ditto on all of the above.

I ended up bring my snap and go to bru and they adjusted the bars for me. I think the back one ended up laying back a tad further.

maybe its just me but I bought the double travel system and STILL use it - granted yes its heavy and bulky but I only had to buy one stroller!

later on I've bought 2 small umbrella's for when DH and I are together but at some point when they outgrow the carriers or you want to face them forward in the stroller then you don't have to spend the money on separate strollers...

We use the Snap n Go without any troubles. So light which is nice as carrying your babies separately and in the carseats sure gets heavy. I can tell you that for sure and mine are only six weeks old. SNG is a good choice IMO.

Me too. Why spend that much more money cause you are going to need another stroller anyways for when they get out of the carriers. I don't think the Duo Glider is that bulky either. We love it and I dont have to worry about getting another stroller.

IMO the snap & go is totally safe with the Graco carseats. Graco just has to say that, to cover their butts, because they can't be held liable for the use of their carseats with a product that isn't made by them.

Got on a tangent and forgot to add that our snug ride seats fit in there very well. I agree with pp that it's Graco's way of trying to pursuade (sp) you to buy their stroller.

I had Graco Snugride Carriers and the double snap n' go stroller and I used it all the time with no problems at all. I never felt like it wasn't safe...you should be fine.

You are being paranoid. They say that because they want you to buy THIER system. IMO.

We have the Graco Duoglider and I love it! I've never used the snap-n-go, but the duoglider is convenient. I can fold it up really quick and I can lift it into our tall SUV without any trouble. I also like that they can grow into it and it is still useable when they are out of their infant carriers.
