i am so frustrated at this point! i feel so terrible all the time. i feel so tired that it feels like i am drugged. i wake up every hour at night. and i just feel like crap all the time. i am so at the end of my rope, because i just called the dr, and he said "it's normal". well, these are my 6th and 7th babies, and my SECOND twin pregnancy. i have never felt like this. i feel so awful it's not even funny. like i have NO energy to do anything. i am 32 weeks, and with my first twin pregnancy, i felt bad towards the end, but not like this. what is wrong with me? i'm torn between feeling like i am a pansy and feeling like the dr is brushing me off.
anyone ever feel like this? so so tired, nauseous after eating, run-down, etc? and i'm not talking about typical pregnancy fatigue here. it's so bad that i just want to sleep all the time, and i cannot do that because i have five other kids to take care of. :(

Well, don't take this the wrong way, but you're older now. My twin pregnancy was my hardest of all 5. But my last pregnancy with spencer was pretty close in a lot of ways. I was totally exhausted and so uncomfortable that I let myself be induced at 41 weeks even though he wasn't ready to come yet (which made for a totally miserable delivery). And 32 weeks with twins feels about like 41 weeks with a single baby. You can do this. But don't be too hard on yourself, when it's too hard take a nap. Can you put your oldest in charge for awhile in the afternoons so you could rest? Or put on a movie for the kiddos while you nap on the couch? It won't kill them and will help you make it through. Good luck!

And the iron suggestion is a good one. And make sure to take it with vitamin c (or orange juice) and avoid milk at the same time for best absorption.

If you think something is up, go to your family doctor and have them run a check on your blood, just to make sure something isn't going on, and to give you some piece of mind. If nothing is wrong, you've only spent a copay (hopefully that is all it will cost you).

I was going to say what Dielle said. My singleton pregnancy was ten times worse than the twins, but I was in my 30's as opposed to my 20's. I just always figured it was because I was older, was working and running the household by myself half the time.
