It never fails.. if one baby is sleeping, the other is up and fussing.. the SECOND the awake baby drifts off, the sleeping one wakes up. It's like they have agreed to sleep in shifts

I remember a short time like that. DH said maybe there were really just one baby after all, shared a brain or something like that, so only one could be awake at a time.

Eventually they got through that stage.

Yes. It's a conspiracy to drive us twin parents crazy! It got better for us around 6 months, when they were both sleeping through the night, and taking regular naps. Hang in there!

It usually works out pretty well becuse I can feed one while the other naps... I just wonder how they time it so perfectly.

I am with you, my twins are turned 4 months on the 1st of october. I just remind myself that they will be sharing a room so they need to get used to each other. I hope and pray they learn to sleep through it. I also have a 2 1/2 year old to deal with and their room (when they finally sleep there, holding off as long as I can) is right next door. UGH! I will have 3 overtired kids.

 I've had days like that! Then there are days when they are both awake all day and no one sleeps at all!

OMG!!! Same here! Specially when one is very fussy and the very second he/she closed their eyes, their brother/sister wakes up! Drives me nuts on bad days.

 I hope it's a short-lived phase & they outgrow it before it drives you  !

Yes, mine do this. I feel like we can't get out of the house when this happens. My nap in separate rooms, so at least that helps with waking each other up.
