Hi there ladies - Just a quick update for you!

Went for my 34week2day appt today which included a growth scan.

My weight went up 4lbs in one week! eek. But my urine was showing protein - luckily bp is fine, no headaches, spots etc.

Went onto the growth scan and Baby A - is measuring great! Estimated weight 6.5lbs.

Unfortunately Baby B is not measuring as good as she should. And he suspects we may have a case of IUGR. Her placenta is also more mature than it should be at this stage. Her estimated weight is 5.2lbs.

And they really are running out of room.

So c-section has been bumped up to Tuesday! eek. They will be 35weeks1day.

I can't believe this is really, really happening.
My DH looks like he has been hit by a Mack truck! Please keep us in your thoughts that everything goes well for Tuesday and the babies are healthy!

After 7 years TTC, After 3 IVF's, After 16 weeks of morning sickness, blood clots, cervical polyps, After 22 weeks of bedrest (9 of which I have been living with my parents) - wow has this been an adventure.

You have made it so farand gone thru so much! Hope the IUGR is just another case of the U/S not being 100% accurate and all goes well for you until your c-section!

Gosh, you certainly have been through quite a journey. The good news is your babies are both great weights and you have surpassed some major milestones!

Congrats on your upcoming delivery. I know it is earlier than expected, but you must be excited to meet your little ones. You have made it so far, and dealt with so much. You are in for the fun part now. Twins are far more rewarding that I ever could have imagined!!!

Take a deep breath! Then take about three more. There.....

It HAS been a journey for you; and the next phase will soon begin. You will be in my thoughts; looking forward to hearing your birth story and imagining you looking into their eyes....

[IMG] You lucky girl! I wish my doc would induce me next week. He won't even discuss it with me at this point. I went in on tues for my growth scan. Baby A was 5.3 and baby B was 5.5! So your little ones really are measuring great. The discordance is worrisome, but 5.2 is a good weight at this point in your pregnancy! [IMG]
