alternative way of spelling....

.....Ruby.

i wanted to spell it wil an 'ie' at the end instead of a 'y' so it will go with the twins middle name's (pixie and Lissie).

what do you think?

Rubie would be the best. The rest look like you're illiterate. No offense

 

I'm with Tabbi, if you must use ie, make it Rubie.
Roobie opens up pronunciation problems, oo as is book, or food?
Ruubie looks like it might come from a foreign language.
And neither look like a cute girl's name.

But I prefer Ruby. There are millions of people out there (Like me!) whose children's names don't match in the least.

ok,i've been racking my brain with this one,heres what i've come up with:

Rhuebe (like Phoebe)
Rhuebie
Rhuebi

( I had Riley on my girl twin list spelled RHYLEA because I also had RHIANNON and wanted to match it in some way). But the h is good (like in Rhonda,Rhys,etc...) can be silent but still has a purpose!!!

So i thought the name was settled but now we're tossing up between two first name's before we were between two middle name's. I think we're going to have to wait and see which suits her better when she's here.
